About the Accounting team
The Accounting team consists of ten individuals and is divided into two teams. The Nordic team of four people are responsible for the accounting in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
About the role
As Accounting Assistant Nordics you will be handling the daily accounting flows for Nordic entities as well as assisting the rest of the team in the closing process. The role involves several contacts within the organization and the right person must be able to work simultaneously with different tasks. The person will report to the Accounting Manager Nordics. The position is based in Stockholm.
What you'll do
- General bookkeeping in local GAAP for Nordic countries
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Manage accounts payable on a daily basis
- Manage and review expenses
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Other ad-hoc tasks, such as assisting the organization with different accounting-related questions
Who you are
- Bachelor degree qualified in Economics, Business administration or similar
- Familiar with bookkeeping and relevant accounting procedures
- Experience from working in Google sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in both Swedish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A quick learner and team player who is comfortable taking ownership of given tasks and working both independently and as part of a team; you are able to prioritize and make sure to meet deadlines
- Interested in automation of accounting processes
