Ionomr is seeking an Accounting and Office Administrator for its growing operations in Charlestown, MA. This role will focus on data entry related accounting tasks including posting entries and creating invoices. As well as taking ownership of other tasks related to administration and office management. 

This role is a 100% in office and is located in Charlestown, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including all accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, bill posting, employee expense processing with appropriate approvals, payment processing, collections, and document uploads to portals.
  • Ensured timely completion of bank reconciliations and managed company credit card accounts, monitoring usage and reconciling expenditures.
  • Oversee inventory management, including annual physical counts.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP, Canadian GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards and internal control procedures.
  • Compile accounting for government awards/funding/grants, ensuring expenditures align with grant and program budgets and requirements throughout the grant period.
  • Assist the senior accountant in preparing accurate and timely consolidated financial statements and reports for both internal management and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • 2 + years of Bookkeeping, Accounting or Finance experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables)
  • Experience with Quickbooks 
  • Excellent data entry skills 
  • Attention to detail, proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. capable of

excelling in a fast-paced, high-energy, and rapidly growing organization.

  • Experience with cross-border accounting, intercompany transactions, multi-currency is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

Benefits

Ionomr offers a competitive salary range, options, and bonus and benefits packages.

The base salary will be in the $60-$75K range, depending on experience with a competitive total rewards package.
