Speakit is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
In this role, you will work closely with the finance team and senior management to analyze financial data, prepare financial statements, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.

Responsibilities
In this position as an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining cash flow records
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting the preparation of tax returns and handling tax-related matters
- Collaborating with the finance team to streamline processes and implement best practices
Requirements
To be successful in this role as an Accountant, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role, for at least 2-3 years
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting softwares and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
