The Edelman Health team has an exciting opportunity for an Account Supervisor to help manage the communications marketing for one of the country’s most successful pharma companies. The role offers direct contact with clients, access and partnership with all of Edelman’s comms marketing disciplines, and great exposure across the practice and broader Edelman network.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as day-to-day client contact across workstreams; partner with account leads and specialty groups to address client needs quickly, thoughtfully and effectively
- Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, timeline and budget adherence
- Play major role in creation of communications plans and goals; ensure tactical programs are carried out that track toward them
- Serve as daily client contact across multiple client programs simultaneously and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
- Consistently partner across junior staff and specialty groups to produce high-quality work
- Serve as central repository of account and disease state knowledge to perform quality control of all externally-facing materials
- Ensure specialty groups, including digital, media, creative and advocacy, are integrated into all relevant programs and properly briefed on account activities and information
- Supervise account junior staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing timely and actionable feedback
- Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
Basic Qualifications:
- At least four years of full-time experience in public relations and/or related fields including advertising, management consulting, and media
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (public relations, communications, English, advertising, journalism, business)
- Excellent storytelling, writing and presentation skills
- Management and leadership skills as well as a proven track record of success in executing fast-moving, large-scale campaigns at the strategic and tactical level
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines on sizable pieces of business to achieve client goals
- Experience with pharma MLR review process
- Experience with and knowledge of social and earned media, particularly in the health and pharma space
