Project Background:  

The components of the Government Agency are moving to a new Financial, Procurement, and Asset Management system. This is a multi-phased project encompassing Requirements gathering/documentation, As-Is Business Process documentation, Discovery meetings with the System Integrator, Data Migration, To-Be Process documentation, Testing, Training, and Cutover to new environment.

Position Description:

  •  Manage team/project per Master Schedule
  • Support the management of the performance under this requirement, to include: all necessary technical, business, and administrative planning and preparations; organizing; coordinating; tracking (e.g., cost, schedule, deliverables); performance management; risk management; resource management; change management and data management.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of the USCIS FSM Integrated Master Schedule and project dashboard.
  • Assist in the development/drafting and maintenance of required documentation.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of the USCIS FSM Integrated Master Schedule and project dashboard.
  • Assist with USCIS participation in all phases of the process with DHS Financial System Modernization JPMO, ICE, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist with preparing for, planning of and participation in USCIS test and evaluation events, development and review of test evaluation plans and reports.
  • Assist with development and management of Configuration technical and functional documentation.
  • Maintain/administer knowledge repository - databases and SharePoint sites for improved analysis and collaboration, program record, and workflow.
  • Coordinate deliverables with DHS FSM JPMO, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and third-party vendors.
  • Participate in the DHS FSM Joint Program Management Office Integrated Project Teams (IPT) and complete assignments/deliverables.
  • Assist in identification, mitigation strategy, tracking, and disposition of financial management system program risks.
  • Monitor project schedule and provide status updates. Identify schedule risks and make recommendations.
  • Support USCIS SMEs and System Integrator (SI) during FSM phases, complete assignments/deliverables, identify issues and recommend solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Documentation creation/review/update (includes Progress Reports, Weekly/Monthly Status Reports, Deliverables, System Integrator provided)
  • Data review
  • Presentations (Creation, Review, and Delivery as required)
  • Client / System Integrator / Government Agency Meetings (Attend, Document and Run as required)
  • Risk Management
  • Test/Training plan/documentation review

Required Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  •  MA / MS
  • 10 years’ experience

Desired Skills:

  • SAP S/4HANA experience
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
