We are hiring a Client Solutions Specialist in the Wholesale ‘Telesales’ Solutions team to support growth by introduction or reinvention of New Clients across UK & Ireland.

The Opportunity: 

The Client Solutions Specialist – Telesales New Business (Wholesale) is a pivotal and important role and a primary interface between Selecta and its prospect Wholesale clients. This role will play an integral part to the overall success of the Wholesale Solutions division, with Client opportunities across multiple industries.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the ability to be a challenger and approach prospective Wholesale Clients, Small and Large, strategically build relationships over the phone with these Clients and win new business.

 

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work three days per week minimum in Badminton where the existing telesales team are based and up to two days per week, flexibly, remotely.
  • Make outbound calls to a new business prospect base and ‘sleeping clients’ base and generate sales.
  • Communicate effectively through a variety of channels (phone/video/email)
  • Work to daily/weekly/monthly targets as part of a high octane, target focused solutions team 
  • To liaise with and spend time with the Wholesale ‘Large client’ team collaboratively to support new business growth of these clients i.e.

- research prospect opportunities within our existing client’s umbrellas of ownership

- research and approach competitors of our existing client’s as reference to generate opportunities

  • Have full accountability for a territory of ‘sleeping clients’ in wholesale to drive growth. 
  • To own the performance and relationships with new clients, as if it were your own business.
  • To be able to create and deliver management information that is accurate and beneficial to internal and external parties to drive change away from existing suppliers to Selecta.
  • Develop strategies and tools to ensure each client is managed effectively and influencing internal departments that are impacted when new contracts are won.
  • Develop contacts and build relationships with key decision makers and influencers within each account, to challenge, drive change and win new contracts for Selecta.
  • Ensure all activity is documented within CRM, to provide full visibility to the business.
  • Ability to network across all industries to drive Wholesale growth of new clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in target driven solutions teams, with a passion for new business hunting and closing to win new clients.
  • Proven track record of surpassing targets.
  • Experience of using a CRM system to give visibility of phone sessions, activity, and other data.
  • Record of accomplishment winning new business.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, logically, and effectively to internal and external parties
  • Experience working with contracts with a minimum spend and duration.
  • Experience working with multiple industries.
  • You will enjoy working as part of an energetic target focussed team, spending time in high octane phone sessions.
  • You will also have strong systems skills and be highly numeric and analytical.
