Account Manager, Strategic -GCR

We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager. This role will report to the AVP, APAC Inside Sales.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and owning the long-term growth strategy for a number of our most important regional customers. 

 

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Strategic team means your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Executing various strategies to ensure the region’s top accounts are highly engaged and investing further in Similarweb’s portfolio of products and services. 
  • Managing relationships with decision makers, influencers and users to increase engagement and product adoption in order to exceed commercial targets
  • Identifying and leading up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference-ability
  • Partnering with the Strategic Sales team to ensure a collaborative client experience and account expansion
  • Influencing future lifetime value through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction, and overall engagement

 

This is the perfect job for someone with:

  1. Fluent in English and Mandarin (business level) to service customers in both the Greater China Region and other global markets. 
  2. 7+ years experience in sales, account management or other customer-facing commercial roles
  3. Proven experience of navigating renewals and up-sells (SaaS/Digital background preferred)
  4. Strong understanding of the digital marketing and / or analytics space
  5. Experience with large multinational accounts given the global remit of the role
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  7. Ability to influence, confidently handle objections and resolve customer issues.
  8. Experience client-direct sales and/or account management, and be highly successful at running consultative sales processes in large, complex prospect organizations. 
  9. Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management of prospect organizations.
  10. Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  11. Team player able to effectively interact with colleagues and business partners across the company
