About the Role:
Samba TV is looking for a strategic Account Manager for our UK team. This position will help lead media planning and reporting in partnership with Sales Executives. You will facilitate management of all aspects of the campaign from the pre-sales cycle through mid-campaign management and post-sale servicing providing an exceptional end-to-end experience for your clients. The role will be pivotal in maintaining client growth and renewals, and will be at the forefront of our ever-evolving managed, programmatic, data services.
The Account Manager will focus on delivering best-in-class service to their clients by providing proactive strategic and consultative solutions and ensuring client objectives/KPIs are met while operating between various key stakeholders and teams.
Who You Are
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales for the full campaign life-cycle servicing from planning, activation, troubleshooting (where applicable) and delivery of client wrap-up reports to drive renewal and upsell.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Samba’s value proposition across all our agency product solutions, with a primary focus on data and media.
- Provide strategic recommendations to advertisers in response to agency RFPs.
- Work cross-functionally to communicate all aspects of campaign details to ensure flawless execution, continued optimisation, and actionable results for advertisers.
- Forged strong customer relationships, acting as the day-to-day point of contact for campaign management.
- Strong ability to analyse, track, and report on data for campaign effectiveness and communicate these findings to clients via proactive reporting and post-campaign wrap-ups.
- Ability to effectively juggle a heavy influx of questions and requests from clients, with exceptional accuracy and within deadline.
- Be able to troubleshoot potential programmatic campaign issues with clients. Knowledge of working with multiple DSPs across globally recognised brands and a willingness to learn additional technical role requirements (pixel implementation, workbook environments).
- Ensure continued campaign success by securing incremental revenue and/or campaign extensions/renewals.
- Think about the business holistically and strategically evaluate ways in which we can grow our partnerships with our clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of account management/media planning experience on the publisher/network/AdTech side managing strategic/top-tier accounts.
- Experience working on programmatic campaigns, including working with DSPs to troubleshoot programmatic campaign issues is beneficial.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and 3rd party reporting (DCM, Atlas, Innovid, Sizmek, DoubleVerify, IAS, MOAT, etc.)
- Keen understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, in particular video.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a focus on adaptability.
- Problem solver at heart with strong project and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
