Account Manager - Reagents

Luminary Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join a rapidly growing Biotech. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the field of reagents. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with customers, providing technical expertise, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert in reagent applications and solutions.
  • Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions to meet their laboratory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Develop and execute account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in reagents and laboratory consumables.
  • Participate in industry conferences, tradeshows, and other events to promote reagent products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Forecast and track sales metrics, provide regular reports to management, and contribute to sales forecasting activities.
  • Effectively communicate customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the reagents or laboratory supplies industry.
  • Strong knowledge of reagents and laboratory consumables, including their applications and market trends.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required up to 50%.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
