Job Overview
The Account Manager, Partner Universities (Account Manager) is responsible for account management and general administrative operations supporting the university partnerships and Partner Operations Universities Team in a variety of projects that support the university portfolio, focused on partnerships where there is no campus staff. The Account Manager will interact with a wide range of universities and will take the lead in account management with travel up to 75%. This position works closely Shorelight stakeholders (e.g., Recruitment, Admissions, Finance) to optimize day-to-day operations and ensure they perform in a manner that supports partnership growth and student success. The Account Manager reports to the Executive Director, Partner Operations.

The Account Manager is comfortable multitasking, adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, and manages time efficiently.
Essential Functions:
Enrollment Management
- In concert with university admissions operations and Shorelight’s enrollment management (EM) team, drive workflow optimization to streamline university admissions and I-20 processing capabilities, including seeking optimization opportunities to grow enrollment and conversion
- Collaborate with the university admissions team and Shorelight’s enrollment management team to ensure the quality and flow of applications meets university expectations
- Support escalated cases for admissions decisions or service turnaround on I-20s as needed
- Serve as relationship manager on new program development, including admissions criteria, processes, integration, and implementation
- Host regular review meetings with enrollment management team to provide ongoing guidance on admissibility standards and application consultation
- Work with Shorelight marketing and recruitment teams to ensure appropriate exposure of the select universities
- Facilitate regular meetings with university admissions/EM/Faculty/DSO teams to support timely resolution/processing of applications submitted to the University
- Serve as a conduit between Shorelight recruitment teams and university to ensure communication is appropriate and filtered
- Lead biannual evaluation of acceptable credentials with the goal of optimizing existing processes at the partnership level
- Document and communicate local campus policies related to admissions and enrollment management
- Support the partner operations leadership team with new initiatives that support enrollment goals and open access for qualified international students in collaboration with Shorelight acquisition leadership
- Partner with Executive Director, Partner Operations on forecasting enrollment and participation in conversion activities including webinars and student outreach
- Partner with university on determining productivity thresholds and forecasting production volume to establish consistency and predictability in the admissions process
- Support pre-arrival, orientation, and communication of post-arrival activities at assigned schools
- Maintain marketing materials, majors of study, and university website updates for assigned schools
- Support student enrollment in Shorelight Student Success Solutions initiatives
Data Management and Reporting
- Support the revenue forecasting process by reviewing student confirmation statuses, historical discounting rates, and average selling price to ensure forecast accuracy
- Liaise with university staff in key departments at partner universities to ensure accurate reporting and data flow
- Submit updates for changes in majors, requirements, deadlines and pricing as needed outside of annual review process
- Collaborate with finance team for semesterly/quarterly financial reconciliation process for timely updates
- Work with university IT and engineering personnel to improve or implement systems integration
- Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce through lifecycle of the student journey
- Coordinate data and file transfer into the university Student Information System
Process Optimization
- Analyze and evaluate current operational workflows, identify areas of improvement, and work with internal key stakeholders to determine solutions and increase efficiency
- Liaise with Shorelight leadership to optimize areas of responsibility and cross-functional effectiveness
- Identify and communicate trends/insights in the enrollment funnel to promote campus outreach and more accurate follow up with partners that will generate an increase in conversions and retention
- Leverage technology to support a data-driven approach to streamline team usage and application of predictive analytics
- Create reports and dashboards that provide data visibility, easy data verification for stakeholders, and ensure resource initiatives are optimized for the account management team
- Execute, support, and optimize efficient standardized process for workflows including enrollment verification, progression, and ancillary tracking through semesterly training sessions and upkeep of Spark articles
- Aid department stakeholders to ensure efficient communication of needs and reporting requirements are met
- Ensure revenue opportunities are recognized with the sales and admissions teams by maintaining data tracking mechanisms for new and progressed students
Security
- Comply with Shorelight Written Information Security Policy, and all other Shorelight Information Security Policies and Procedures
- Take responsibility for any Shorelight assets assigned to you
- Promptly report any security events, incidents, or weaknesses to Shorelight Security
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- 2+ years of office management experience
- Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of basic accounting practices, financial analysis, and budget management experience
- Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Marketing, or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
