This Account Management position is for a London based, accomplished and results-driven professional with plenty of energy and a positive attitude. You will have an interest or experience in working directly with the FMCG industry. In addition to being an exceptional individual who strives for excellent client satisfaction and sales performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be a team player that wants to maximize every opportunity. You will also need to show evidence of excellent sales success and feel at ease speaking with business owners.
You will be responsible for maintaining a well-established portfolio of existing clients in Spain, managing your own schedule, making around 40 zoom appointments per month and happily travelling around the region on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Fluency in English & Spanish
Minimum 2 years proven experience in account management and sales or client support support.
Natural curiosity to uncover opportunities within the customer client base. Consultative and solution oriented selling, able to challenge clients to constructively broaden their perspective
Experience pitching, negotiating and closing consulting and syndicated renewal proposals
Effective internal coordination and collaboration with the ability to influence internal teams without reporting authority while building relationships across them.
Able to use polite persistence to engage difficult to reach senior executives, following through on long term projects as well as identifying multiple ways to assist/address obstacles in the process along the way
Willingness to learn from colleagues with global backgrounds and diverse experiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly polished, with the drive and interest to keep abreast with the core issues within the FMCG market.
What you will do:
Retain and grow existing accounts across the territory using excellent communication skills, strong follow-up and sharp attention to detail.
Expand our contacts beyond existing sources, developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within an organisation
Leverage client relationships to grow accounts by securing additional products or services to achieve a target portfolio percentage increase
Identify new champions and revenue streams by networking throughout assigned accounts and by leveraging contacts throughout territory
Identify gaps in personal development for future growth, willing to work with management to customise your future growth opportunities
