Account Manager (Fintech)

Overview
Our client is a fintech startup based in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for am Account Manager with high familiarity in cross border finance, ecommerce company business nature and credit management. Candidates with more experience will be considered a Senior title.

What You Will Do

  • Provide a wide range of services to clients located in Mainland China, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Proactively assist sales colleagues in addressing clients’ inquiries and complaints through various communication channels including emails, WeChat, and phone calls.
  • Collect and understand clients’ needs and opinions, coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments such as Credit Department, Technology Department, Finance Department, etc., to provide comprehensive solutions that facilitate smooth communication.
  • Conduct thorough online due diligence and onboarding procedures for new clients to ensure compliance and proper initiation.
  • Be responsible for sales data analytics and perform detailed analysis to support sales strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Perform various ad-hoc assignments as required to support the team and organizational goals.

What You Will Need

  • Possess a diploma or higher educational qualification.
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or field.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese, including Putonghua, to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience in handling clients from the banking, e-commerce, or payment platform sectors is preferred, such as experience with Paypal, traditional banking, or virtual banks.
  • Exhibit a good command of computer skills, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, to efficiently perform job duties.
  • Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience or experience in handling clients from Mainland China are preferred.
  • Familiarity with corporate or personal credit products is an advantage for this position.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service mentality and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Have 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service or account management, showcasing a solid track record in these areas.
