The role

At Civica, we are committed to empowering Local Government with innovative software solutions that make a difference in their communities As an Account Manager in our Local Government business unit, you will manage the customer experience and relationships with our Local Government customers across Western Australia with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention. You will work with customers to identify opportunities to extract more value from their Civica investment as well as positioning and extending our Local Government product portfolio.  To ensure we provide our customers with the best outcomes you will work along aside other Account Managers and the pre-sales team to share ideas and create outstanding customer relations.  Within the territory you will work with our with Business Development team to assist in identifying new customers.

About you

You have at least 5 years sales experience within the software industry, preferably with ERP systems. You have worked with sales targets exceeding 1 million dollars per annum and you’ve demonstrated experience managing existing customer relationships, ideally in the Government space.

You’ve demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationship and are able to drive results and generate effective plans to meet the needs of your customers through a consultative style. You’ve excellent business acumen and strong gravitas with liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
