The Role:

BCW Hong Kong is currently looking for an Account Manager. They will be expected to support day-to-day client activities and provide guidance to junior team members through ongoing counsel and effective delegation as well as support our corporate strategy and your practice or office to help ensure superior client service, a winning culture and profitability.

What you’ll do as you move with us:

  • Be the go-to person for the client by staying current on your client’s businesses and industries, understand current trends and hot topics related to your clients
  • Be passionate about the media and understand how to build creative campaigns to resonate with different target audiences and journalists from different sectors
  • Play an active role in supporting the senior team members in implementing plans
  • Be passionate about coming up with great ideas, making use of insights, research and creative technology to bring your client’s products or services to life
  • Act as a day-to-day client leader and maintain a clear and consistent communication channel between the client and the account team
  • Ability to clearly understand the clients’ objectives and requirements and provides necessary guidance to the junior colleagues
  • Able to summarize the key-takeaways and highlights after every project completion, for both internal and external reporting
  • Confident to deal with media or KOL, either for event invitations or angles
  • Support manage and monitor the status of multiple projects against the client budget and commercial terms and coordinate with third-party vendors (media/ KOL/ production houses) to ensure a smooth project completion
  • Requirements

    Experience that contributes to your success:

  • Degree qualifications with 4-6 years of demonstrated agency/ in-house experience in global PR or marketing communications
  • Experience in handling integrated communications responsibilities with a focus on B2B enterprise technology/ B2C technology and lifestyle
  • Experience in handling regional/global MNC client portfolio will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translation skills, in English and Mandarin is a must
