  • An Account Executive at Zeno works closely with the wider team members to develop and execute earned, owned and paid media campaigns. You’ll also be involved with influencer management, content production and will play a significant role in the day-to-day account management to achieve KPIs.

    This role includes:
  • Media relations and influencer engagement
  • Management of client projects and earned, owned, and paid campaigns.
  • Meeting with clients and day-to-day client liaison, including attending regular client/team meetings
  • Compilation of media and influencer lists
  • Compilation of daily media coverage and industry articles of interest and distributed to clients in a timely manner
  • Writing pitches, media releases and internal communications
  • Having fun – and helping others enjoy their work too!

  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors
  • Manage media relations by identifying and working with target media and demonstrating a network of traditional and online media contacts and influencers
  • Provide account administration including meeting deadlines, troubleshooting problems, attending client meetings and conference calls, and reporting weekly/monthly activity and coverage
  • Be a keen writer across all styles of writing including press releases, story pitches, speeches, scripts, newsletters, and other media materials
  • Edit and proofread written materials for quality and adherence to appropriate writing style
  • Be hands-on in social media community and content management, including the development of content calendars, briefing the design team, and managing customer inquiries
  • Undertake regular meet & greets with media
  • Assist with the coordination and management of media events and video/photo shoots
  • Implement traditional and online research techniques
  • Play an active role in brainstorms across all team activities
  • Be a positive role model for all the team

  • Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and managers
  • Supervise account coordinators and interns on projects
  •  
    Business Development
  • Participate in news business process, research, audits, preparation for proposals and support on new business pitches
  • Maintain client satisfaction, resulting in client retention
  •  
    General Management & Initiative

  • Maintain knowledge of the latest thinking and practices in earned, owned, and paid media, and apply these to the clients as required
  • Be able to identify media, industry, and social media trends
  • Have good judgement

  • Be able to clearly and confidently articulate campaign objectives
  • Have an ability to evaluate ideas against campaign objectives
  • Know when to seek additional support and senior input for problem-solving
