Due to Xero’s recent acquisition of Syft Analytics, based in South Africa, there is a requirement for a New Zealand based Account Executive with a direct line to the Syft team.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead generation - Discover, research, identify and prospect for new customers for Syft Analytics.
- Outreach to new businesses via cold calling and other sales cadence techniques to book demos for the account executive team.
- Qualify inbound leadsPerform sales demos to leadsHave engaging and intelligent conversations via video call, phone and email
- Convert leads into paid customersHelp drive customer knowledge on analytics and how our software can solve their problems in this space.
- Manage a sales development representative team based in the Philippines
- Provide real-time and detailed support to our local customers via a chat interface and over short video calls
What success looks like
- Meeting monthly targets on new clients signing up to Xero via your accounting partners
- Meeting weekly KPI measurements such as phone calls, meetings, demo’s and events
- Maintaining a high level of activity and excellent account hygiene in our CRM
- Manage existing accounting partner relationships under our recruit, educate, grow model
- Cross functional team collaboration to support revenue growthCollaborate with our technical team to present end-to-end accounting workflow solutions
What you’ll bring with you
- Night availability - are available from 8pm to 11pm each evening to check in with the South African Syft team
- The ability to maintain an average of 80+ outbound calls per day
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: we are looking for someone who is clear, concise and convincing in their communication, and is comfortable negotiating with an accountant or business owner
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and product support in the accounting industry
- Experience managing an SDR team
- Access to a motor vehicle for in person customer visits
- Proven sales track record

Hours and Pay
Base pay of $66,000 per annum
Uncapped commission paid monthly based on prior month's sales
Minimum 40 working hours per week from Monday to Friday
