Our ambition for MaltGermany is to transform this market into one of the strongest in Europe! To achieve this goal we are looking for an SMB Account Executive German Market. You will focus on new logo acquisition and have a high impact on our new business revenue growth.

As a trusted advisor, you will actively work to ensure Malt is always at the forefront, acting in your clients’ best interests and ensuring a world-class service.

To succeed in this role, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to go the extra mile to guarantee our rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • You’re responsible for bringing in new business, recurring revenue through closing small and medium businesses' (start-ups, scale-ups and traditional small medium businesses, which we define as companies with less than 1000 employees) in Germany.
  • Develop a deep comprehension of customer's businessLead the full sales-cycle, from initial interest to deal close
  • Build relationships with executives at all levels and in all industriesAchieve your targets by prospecting within client accounts via an outbound strategy that will allow you to continue to expand your portfolio
  • Ensure the conversion of leads into missions and work in collaboration with the Community team on client briefs and follow-ups
  • Support clients in their search to help them connect to our best freelance profiles
  • Deploy the Malt reflex: AMs position themselves as a “trusted advisor” and establish a long-term relationship with their clients

About you 🧑‍🚀

  • You have previous sales experience ideally in SaaS platform/marketplace
  • Fluent-level in German and fluent English speaker
  • You are able to demonstrate methodology to prospect and build pipeline on your own
  • You see yourself as a “hunter” and enjoy developing creative prospecting strategies.
  • Your curiosity and your ability to establish and formalize the short, medium and long term needs of your customers will be a real plus
  • Desire to integrate a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, caring and demanding work environment
  • Knowledge of the tech industry (languages and frameworks) is a real asset but not required
  • Nice to have: existing network in the SMB DACH industry
