Account Executive, Mid-Market

As a Mid Market Account Executive at AgentSync, you will play a critical role in driving growth through new logo acquisition across the a diverse market of Insurance Carriers, Agencies, and MGAs in the United States.  Those who will be strongly considered for this role should have a desire to dive deep into the insurance industry and demonstrate genuine curiosity for the challenges and opportunities that our customers face. You will be responsible for researching, strategizing, and pursuing new business opportunities, while also maintaining relationships, owning renewal discussions and driving expansion revenue within a small book of existing Mid-Market accounts.  Mid-Market AEs thrive when it comes to self-generating pipeline and are comfortable managing 6-10 opportunities simultaneously. Success in the Mid-Market segment is crucial to the overall success of AgentSync, as the generational shift and changing market dynamics continue to create incredible partners for our customer portfolio.

What you’ll do: 

  • Exceed annual and quarterly sales targets (ramped quota for first 6 months), including net new revenue, gross retention revenue and professional services fees. 
  • Take a keen interest in the nuances of the insurance industry, from the ever-changing regulatory environment to the unique challenges facing Life, Health and Annuities vs Property and Casualty markets. 
  • Utilize acquired industry knowledge and customer stories to lead with a point of view in each and every customer interaction.  Helping customers with varying footprints, across numerous lines of business, types of companies, etc can be an added challenge selling to a niche market, so recognizing how their business goals align with the value AgentSync delivers is key to your success, AgentSync’s success and ultimately the success of the customer. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts within the accounts you close over time and partner with CS to continuously engage customers as appropriate.
  • Create territory plans and account plans to strategically penetrate your named accounts
  • Take ownership of your own pipeline by setting self-paced prospecting goals each quarter, and developing and executing on a strategy to achieve them. Utilize designated pipe-gen days to cover the largest territory on the team and ensure every company in your patch knows AgentSync.
  • Operate autonomously as “the CEO of your territory” with the help of support teams such as Pre-Sales Engineering, Marketing, SDRs, Product, Legal, Finance, Delivery and Customer Success.
  • Adopt and embrace AgentSync’s Customer Engagement Process (CEP) to execute customer-focused evaluation cycles with the forecasting diligence that enables our business to grow and expand in a responsible way.

Your experience:

  • 3+ Years B2B SaaS experience in Account Executive/Sales roles 
  • 1+ years in insurance, financial services, compliance, legal, consulting etc. (legacy industries)
  • Demonstrated top performer with a track record of meeting and exceeding annual ARR quotas of $1M + with average deal sizes of $90K+
  • Experience with C Level Sales and relationship management.
  • Excellent data-driven, process-driven, methodical, and consultative sales process and mechanics
  • Strong pipeline generation, opportunity management, and forecasting skills
  • Natural problem-solver: comfortable with complexity and ambiguity; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics, and engage meaningfully on the big picture and overall strategy
  • Proactive and passionate: independently solving conceptual problems, and delivering results in challenging situations
  • High-energy, team-first attitude: motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro

$100,000 - $110,000 base (based on sales focus, segment and experience) // $200,000-220,000 OTE 

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in AgentSync’s equity programs.
