About the Role
As part of the early group of Sales hires at Metronome, you'll help develop our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and close customers in partnership with our Head of Sales. We’re looking for team members that take initiative and ownership to generate pipeline and drive revenue growth from initial conversation through deployment and beyond. We’ll look to you to build deep product expertise to articulate Metronome’s value proposition to various personas across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Ops stakeholders. You’ll work closely and cross-functionally across various teams including Growth and Product to help drive our product roadmap and marketing activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • ​​5+ years of closing experience working with customers, ideally selling to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical concepts at a deep level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong personal drive and ability to thrive in a state of ambiguity

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with sales as a founder or early salesperson at a startup
  • Technical degree, work experience as a software engineer, or other technical skills
  • Experience with billing, infrastructure, or quote-to-cash 
  • Experience selling to technical buyers in Engineering and Product 
  • Ideally looking for someone based in San Francisco/Bay Area
