The Role
We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented Account Executive to join our energetic sales team. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging new customers within the healthcare and labor & trust sectors, building a strong, consistent sales pipeline. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, embraces targets, and is excited to contribute to the growth of a NYC-based startup.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand a personal book of business, establishing strong relationships from the ground up.
- Build and maintain an extensive network within the union (labor and trust) sector.
- Identify and engage unions and strategic partners in the labor and trust segment, fostering long-term relationships.
- Drive the entire lead cycle, from initial prospecting to contract closing with new partners.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and track progress in our CRM system (Salesforce).
- Represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry gatherings to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships.
- Travel up to 50% for in-person meetings, board presentations, trade shows, union events, and conferences.
- Oversee the RFP and proposal processes to secure new business.
- Articulate the unique value, mission, and offerings of Audicus effectively to prospects and partners.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle sales
- 12+ years of experience in sales in the hearing care or adjacent industry required
- Proven track record in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, open to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. (Previous early-stage startup experience preferred).
- Hard-working and willing to go the extra mile to deliver results.
Comp: $80-85K base salary + bonus
