We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Sales Account Executive to join an established team, where you’ll play a key role in driving success by selling booth space and sponsorships for a major annual tradeshow in the Building and Construction market. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of this dynamic industry event.
- Work independently and with Show Manager to create strategic plans to achieve revenue goals by generating new sales ideas and researching new markets and trends.
- Prospect for new business through various sources including industry and other publications, websites and competitive shows.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and ensure the customer is provided continued service as it relates to their investment.
- Prepare customized business proposals for perspective and existing clients.
- Customize sponsorship and booth space offerings to fit the needs of clients.
- Provide accurate sales projections and forecasts.
- Maintain and update sales databases.
- Work closely with show management to develop creative sales messages and marketing promotions.
- Function as an integral part of overall show management effort in performing additional duties as required.
- Travel as required to tradeshows and/or to visit with clients and prospects as needed.
- Preferred: Tradeshow-specific sales experience
- Creative, charismatic, and energetic
- Strong time management and ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; sales database management knowledge is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Team-focused, collaborative mindset; able to work seamlessly with exhibitors and internal teams
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a fast learner
- Exceptional customer service skills
Further Information:
- Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission, offering the potential for further earnings based on performance
