WHAT MAKES US BURSON
The Entertainment team at Burson was formed in 2020 and has been growing fast ever since. It is now made up of 25 sector specialists who live and breathe gaming, esports, music and film. It is home to some of the world’s best loved entertainment brands including Activision Blizzard, Spotify, Meta Reality Labs, LG and Bose.
We’re building a vibrant and diverse team, that delivers incredible work for amazing brands at the forefront of the entertainment space.
YOUR ROLE AS A BURSON PERSON
• Monitor entertainment sector and client news for relevant updates and share with account teams and clients providing a point of view on which media are covering our clients favourably and future opportunities
• Support account teams in delivery of events and campaigns, with input into logistics, media and influencer engagement, written materials and plans
• Keep media and influencer target lists up to date, maintaining excellent knowledge of the landscape and seeking out meetings with appropriate titles and management companies to discuss our clients
• Write media pitches for new stories and identify appropriate journalists to share and collaborate with
• Draft campaign updates and share with clients in a timely and accurate manner
• Update reports and trackers with high attention to detail to keep clients updated on campaign success and performance
YOU’LL BRING ALONG WITH YOU
• Passion for the entertainment industry, both its products and as a business
• Understanding of media and enthusiasm for media relations
• An interest in influencer marketing and all things social media
• Great team player, positively contributing to sector culture and connectivity
• Presentation skills – both verbal and written
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• First class account administration and strong eye for detail
OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
