Account Executive - EAM Ultimo

EAM is one of the most exciting areas of IFS’s focus with a large investment announced in 2021 to drive growth strategy both organically and through acquisition with the aim to become market leader within 3 years.

We are looking for passionate and results-oriented Enterprise Asset Management Account Executive to join this exciting journey and drive the growth of EAM sales into strategic customers. The role will include close collaboration with our market units and of course our extensive Eco-system.

The mission is to help grow IFS by developing new business within the key asset intensive industries outside of Aerospace & Defence and Manufacturing. Key task is to be building relationships at exec level and to create compelling business cases to deliver business value to our clients.

The primary responsibility for this role is to lead by example and create new business deals throughout the region focused on the key industries. The ideal candidates should have significant experience as a subject matter expert in the area of Enterprise Asset Management. This candidate will conduct client-facing peer-to-peer discussions, provide guidance to local sales teams, and collaborate with field legal teams during contract negotiations. This is a client facing role focused on near-term transactions as well as developing long term strategic engagements and therefore client travel will be expected.

Candidates must also possess demonstrated leadership skills, written/verbal communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, negotiation skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exhibit professional business conduct at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for EAM solution sales to the assigned industries within the Nordics territory. 
  • Interaction with customers and prospects to sell EAM– activities include cold calling and other lead generation methods.
  • Manage complex sales cycles while working with virtual sales teams including pre-sales, development, professional services, lead generation, partners and support.
  • Exceed sales quota – maintain forecast, pipeline and status updates in CRM.
  • Use cold calling and networking techniques to pursue net new business.
  • Work closely with professional services team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Required

  • 3 years of successful EAM or similar software sales
  • Demonstrated history of selling complex solutions
  • Know-how of Cloud solutions
  • Hunter-mentality, able to win new logos
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C-level executives
  • Professional proficiency in Finnish and English

Preferred

  • Demonstrated history of working with big 5 consulting firms and top market influencers to close large deals
  • Other languages would be a plus 
  • A team player with the ability lead virtual sales teams while building strong peer and interpersonal relationships 
  • Ability to work with multiple customers of all sizes
  • Creative ability to run own campaigns in coordination with call efforts
