We’re looking for a Marketing Solutions Account Executive to join our fast-growing Online Sales Organization team. You’ll be responsible for outreach to and building relationships with clients in your book of business and region. You’ll strategically sell solutions that help SMB customers achieve their marketing objectives. You’ll strive to meet and exceed quota, always acting in the best interest of the client and aligning with LinkedIn’s culture and values while contributing to the exciting dynamic of the team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with a scaled book of business (400-500 Accounts), to grow activation numbers and revenue dollars 
  • Achieve Quarterly sales motion targets to drive maximum impact in the book of business (Client Engagement, Meetings, Value Driven communication etc.) 
  • Grow Revenue from SMB Clients in your book of business and consistently meet or exceed sales quota 
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for your book of business leveraging LinkedIn’s various tools and processes for book segmentation and engagement 
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Platform 
  • Educate clients (both one to one and at scale) on their marketing opportunities/strategies on LinkedIn and at a holistic marketing level. 
  • Provide consistent forecasting updates on your book of business and progress to sales targets 
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to identify new sales motions and opportunities to drive long-tail success for both the customers and LinkedIn 
  • Be Proactive in problem solving and taking on strategic projects and initiatives that closely align with team/business priorities and objectives 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 3+ years of business development, sales experience in a closing or business development role 
  • 2+ years of work experience in a digital media sales role or closely related function

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing or a related field 
  • Experience in marketing or in a role making recommendations to marketers 
  • Highly dependable with excellent time management skills 
  • Proven communication skills across multiple channels (e.g. virtual meetings, phone, and email) 
  • Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers 
  • Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients/accounts (400-500+) 
  • Ability to achieve results by connecting a customer’s pressure with a business solution.  
  • Proven ability to navigate change 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with peers and achieve a collective goal

The pay range for this role is $127,000 to $182,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
