Able/ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is searching for an Account Director in Washington, DC.
The Account Director is responsible for oversight of operational management and administrative activities to ensure delivery of all facilities management services in conformity with contractual requirements. The Director will be expected to positively contribute to the strategic direction and performance across the multi-functional teams to ensure best value service delivery. The Director also sets standards in operational excellence and continuous improvement and develops and implements cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned account. The Director will ensure that all this is done in a safe, healthy, secure, sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective manner to support the organization.

Responsibilities:
· Lead the delivery of facilities management services in an efficient and sustainable manner including oversight of project planning and evaluation, budgeting and cost estimation, scope development and implementation.
· Manages the company’s quality control monitoring, safety, training and diversity programs at the assigned account.
· Ensures company meets and exceeds Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all service lines
· Drives innovation and creative problem solving across all service lines
· Seeks and implements operational improvements through standardized programs, procedures and best practices
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
· Analyze and manage, in a proactive manner, both the financial and the operational performance of the assigned account.
Develops and manages quarterly/annual budgets for the account and performs periodic cost and productivity analysis.
· Responsible for capital planning and cashflow reporting, along with company support, will produce capital justification for executive level presentation.
· Delivery of quarterly business reviews
· Manages and provides leadership to Managers, and Lead personnel assigned to the account.
· Oversees managers to ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational model is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner.
· Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel within the assigned building. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
· Responsibilities include directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.
· Establishes and implements short- and long-range account goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
· Leading sustainability and building efficiency initiatives.
· Ensuring that third-party service providers perform their duties as per contractual requirements and agreed service level agreements and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 or more years of relevant and extensive facilities management experience in a service/customer-oriented environment preferably in a Class A corporate headquarters commercial building or a campus set-up at a managerial level.
Experience in articulation of technical acumen and understanding of same as it relates to building operations and technical systems maintenance and operations.
Experience directly managing large multifunctional facilities teams
Ability to build relationship and partnerships with different clients and service partners and deliver results that meet the needs and expectations of the clients.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to build and lead a motivated and committed team across functional boundaries, utilize talent and expertise of team members in a productive way.
Experience in budgeting, expense control, and financial forecasting/analysis
Experience in negotiating with labor union
Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
Ability to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients
Dedicated and passionate to the delivery of services at the highest level with a clear client-oriented focus.
Pay: $150K - $200K
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful
applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market
data.
You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
