Account Director, APAC

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualification and opportunity management to contract closure
  • Net new logo sales & customer account management within the mid-market segment
  • Presentation of our CPaaS and Digital Identity services to a wide range of potential customers within different industries
  • Partnership with the Sales Development Representative (chartered with driving lead/opportunity generation), the Pre-Sales, and the Customer Success team
  • Forecast and pipeline management using CRM tools
  • Collection of product feedback, presentation of market intelligence, and ideas for improvements to internal teams
  • Reporting: weekly/monthly/quarterly report out of forecasts, results, and a crisp, concise view of help needed supported by data and business impact.
  • Present accurate sales forecasts on a regular basis
  • Work with function groups (finance, legal, and product) on all aspects of taking services/offers to the market and fulfilling customer’s requirements
  • Develop sales skills to enable seller to close new business

Essential Requirements

  • University degree
  • Experience in similar industries, Telco industry, A2P SMS and Voice, 2FA and/or Mobile Identity and/or Fraud Prevention is a plus
  • 2+ years of documented success exceeding sales targets in a similar business.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, verbal and written.
  • Strong presentation skills using MS PowerPoint and web conferencing.
  • Strong time management skills – ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Target-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Interest in learning about new communications technologies.
  • Knowledge of the mobile messaging market.
  • Business development oriented.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Result-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach.
  • A self-motivated achiever with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and customer focus.
  • The passion and drive to deliver an exceptional level of achievement
  • Experience with solution selling and/or consultative selling.
  • Hands-on approach; is prepared to roll up the sleeves and do his/her own selling and account management when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and relationships with customers in enterprise mobile messaging and mobile marketing a plus.
  • Experience driving a complex sales process, project, and resource management.
