Who You Are 
As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying potential customers, and building demand for our full suite of security products – including cloud-based camera systems, access control, sensors, and integrations. You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, mapping accounts, identifying key prospects, and developing strong relationships with decision-makers across various industries.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for sales and technology. A strong communicator who is resilient in the face of challenges, they will play a key role in driving growth for the company and thrive in a high-performance sales culture where collaboration and continuous learning are key.

What We're Looking For:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting, including cold calling (70-100 calls daily), email campaigns, and networking.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers by understanding their specific business needs, while engaging with prospects to increase brand awareness and educate them on Rhombus products and services.
  • Product and Market Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Rhombus’ security solutions and conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new business opportunities within the physical security industry.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to schedule demos for Account Executives, ensure seamless lead handoffs, and develop account strategies and territory plans.
  • Pipeline and Performance Management: Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, ensuring timely follow-ups, and detailed documentation of interactions.
  • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and exceed monthly quota while seeking ways to drive revenue and achieve growth objectives.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience as an BDR/SDR in Sales or Marketing, preferably at a B2B or SaaS company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and social media.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines, while maintaining productivity goals in fast-paced work environment.
  • Capable of collaborating with a distributed sales team and building rapport with prospects. 
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in core sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Chili Piper, ZoomInfo, Apollo, 6Sense) and MS Office.

This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as needed. 

Compensation
Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
Estimated OTE (base salary + commission): $75,000 - $80,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
