The role
As an Academic Lead at CLO Virtual Fashion, main responsibilities range from software licensing to presenting the company's vision and products to potential clients, spearheading the implementation, managing sales records and invoicing, arranging project timelines, and offering software support and train clients in, but not limited to, your region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
- Managing license acquisition and renewal process
- Deliver inspiring presentations to academic institutions of all sizes with the relevant reference manuals and user reports
- Train new and existing academic users on-site and off-site, fostering proficiency in our solutions.
- Guide academic clients in their 3D implementation strategy
- Provide technical support for CLO and CLO-SET, ensuring high user satisfaction
- Manage sales pipeline, client conversations, and onboarding projects for academic users
- Research market trends in academia and the apparel industry
- Identify challenges and collaborate with other teams to develop solutions
- Serve as a liaison with global CLO offices to connect users worldwide
- Collaborate with software developers and UX designers to propose innovative features and improvements based on user feedback and beta testing of the latest release
Requirement
- 2-3 years of work experience in the academia, fashion or tech industry with knowledge of garment construction and operations management
- Strong base in CLO software and knowledge of CONNECT and CLO-SET
- Critical thinking and creative strategizing
- Knowledge of the apparel industry’s supply chain
- Knowledge in the Adobe suits (especially Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Good professional writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Customer focused
- Must be fluent in English and French
- Willingness to travel
- Must be a European citizen or have a working/residential visa for the EU
