Cortica is looking for an Applied Behavior Analysis Assistant Supervisor to join its growing team!
As an ABA Assistant Supervisor, you will work under the direction of an ABA Supervisor (BCBA) to oversee clinical programming for patients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Treatment. In this role, you will provide support and oversight of Behavioral Interventionists. What will you do?
- Act as the case manager for assigned ABA cases under the guidance of the ABA Supervisor (BCBA) by coordinating and overseeing client care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring client progress, providing support to clients and their families, and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and guidelines.
- Act as the primary contact for the parent/guardian as it relates to the ABA program for each case, reviewing progress reports, goals, ABA assessments and answering questions, as needed.
- In collaboration with the supervising ABA Supervisor (BCBA), complete all written reports in a timely fashion as necessitated by payor and Cortica requirements.
- Ensure authorization/contract fulfillment takes place by utilizing the authorized supervision and parent supervision for each client month over month.
- Provide direct supervision and meet productivity expectations for completing billable activities month over month (e.g. Re-assessments, Supervision, Parent Training, direct 1:1 ABA, etc.).
- Schedule in such a way as to meet the required billable hour expectation for the role by the assigned due date, meeting with direct supervisor regularly to review scheduled hours and ensure optimization of all supervision and parent training hours for the patients on caseload.
- Performance manage direct reports by setting clear goals, develop and monitor progress on individual development plans, provide regular feedback and coaching, conduct performance reviews.
- Provide supervision with each direct report following Cortica’s minimum meeting cadence guidelines, including regular 1 on 1 meetings and ad-hoc meetings, as needed.
- Mentor and train new Behavioral Interventionists (BI), which may include assisting with training tasks as needed, including measuring clinical fidelity in the field.
- Accompany BIs who work on one of your assigned cases to their first session with new clients and attend community outings along with the BI for new locations.
- Complete session notes and “convert” billable appointments within Central Reach during the billable session time. For times when client safety requires the note to be completed outside of the session time, notes will be completed and appointments converted by the end of the workday.
- Oversee and review all Behavior Interventionist documentation, including auditing session notes of assigned POD and/or assigned direct cases.
- Participate in monthly quality assurance activities including meetings and phone interviews with clients, parents/guardians, and case managers.
- Be available to clinical staff during office operating hours to assist with crisis intervention.
- Assist in new hire training and onboarding and ensure completion of human resources requirements for direct reports following assigned timelines.
- Participate in site management and staff meetings as well as department trainings and workshops.
- Participate in Clinical Integration Meetings for clients on caseload, as needed.
- Recommend, prepare, and facilitate trainings as necessary to assist staff in better meeting the needs of clients.
- Assist with client record audits, as needed.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You hold a master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
- You bring 2+ years of experience in the ABA field (in-home and center-based) working with children diagnosed with Autism.
- You have an RBT registration or BCAT certification.
- You are Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Certified.
- You hold a Safety Care Certification (sections 1-5 and sections 6-7 as needed per payor requirements).
- You have knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

The base pay range for this opening is $66,560 to $83,200. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
