  • Use rapid prototyping tools to quickly iterate on designs and develop fixtures and toolings to support manufacturing efforts
  • Participate in testing and analysis activities, including data collection, instrumentation setup, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project work, including design changes, test results, and project progress.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, researchers, and technicians, to complete project tasks and achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts as they arise in the course of projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working on various engineering tasks and projects.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates or findings to supervisors and team members as required.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment as a student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software tools or programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems or prototypes.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and laboratory procedures.

At Phoenix Tailings, we have an open culture that values learning, and we are looking to grow the team with enthusiastic individuals who share our vision of sustainable mining.
