2nd SHIFT-PRODUCTION TRAINER/KILL FLOOR
HOURS:
- 2nd Shift – flexible as needed or required
DUTIES
- Training and motivation of all new employees
- Conducting of Work Hardening programs
- Conducting “off-line” knife sharpening classes on both straight and wizard knives
- Completing various reports in a timely manner
- May assists Occupational Health and the hospital for translation
- Teach annual retraining classes
- Other duties as assigned
- Hours worked as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of KILL FLOOR jobs highly preferred
- Good Safety record required
- Good attendance record required
- Superior knife sharpening skills (all types)-must achieve/maintain knives at or above 8.1 on the Anago knife sharpness tester
- Great communication skills – written and oral
- Valid driver license needed
- Patient attitude with inexperienced employees
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to plan time efficiently
- Ability to conduct training classes as assigned
- Bilingual preferred but not required
