The EMEA Marketing Automation Specialist team member supports the execution of client campaigns such as the development and implementation of marketing and sales customer engagement programs including nurture programs, trigger based communications, and general email campaigns and landing pages with forms. This role will grow to assist with scoring programs, data hygiene programs, and reporting and analytics.

Qualified applicants must possess a background in demand generation or marketing operations with an interest in building out marketing automation skills in Marketo and Salesforce.

This role works with key internal stakeholders to understand our client’s business needs and goals, execute on requirements based on guidance from the EMEA Technical and Admin Lead, properly test and quality assure all programs and facilitate the completion of a client engagement by partnering with project management team members.

Our delivery team uses a number of tools including an advanced project management platform, communications systems, as well as testing and quality assurance processes and platforms. The EMEA Marketing Automation Specialist team member must be comfortable working within an environment that leverages technology to efficiently deliver our services, and values accountability and collaboration to ensure success across all client engagements.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use marketing automation, CRM, and digital marketing documentation to build and test various types of customer engagement programs
  • Assist with the creation of internal documentation
  • Build basic performance reports for our client’s acquisition and engagement programs
  • Implement lead scoring models to support the lead lifecycle and customer journey
  • Execute database management, hygiene and governance programs
  • Create analytics reports to measure campaign effectiveness


Successful team members in this position must meet the following:

  • Basic knowledge of demand generation, customer engagement, digital marketing and communications strategies and tactics
  • Ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines based on project requirements
  • Facility in discussing and documenting technical matters
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Organized, with a demonstrable history of attention to detail to ensure work is performed accurately, completely and meets or exceeds the client’s expectations
  • Industrious, motivated, resourceful and creative, with an ability to synthesize information quickly
  • Passionate and up-to-date on the latest digital marketing technologies and trends
  • Quick learner who goes the extra mile to meet or exceed internal professional development requirements

The following items are a plus:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, customer engagement, digital marketing and communications strategies and tactics
  • Experience in data hygiene and marketing and sales analytics
  • Preferred Timezone: CET, GMT, EEST


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical or marketing field OR equivalent related experience
  • 1-2 years of marketing/demand generation experience
  • 2+ years Marketo, Eloqua or other relevant marketing automation platform experience
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge a plus
  • Fluent in English for business
