Translational Research:

We are looking for talented, highly motivated university students for our Transitional Research department to participate in genomic analysis of clinical trial data to understand the relationship between genome expression and variation and response/resistance to therapeutic intervention with a goal to improve clinical response success rates.

This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to rising juniors or rising seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site preferred. The internship term will be from May 27th, 2025 through August 15th, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download and analyze omics and genetic screening data.
  • Understand and utilize bioinformatics web tools and participate in developing new processes and genomics data analytics methods.
  • Participate in meetings with vendors.
  • Manage data transfer, QC, and data reconciliation activities with vendors and CRO’s.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in US and Japan.
  • Temp will receive dedicated mentorship on projects and skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university with a major that aligns with the department: Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or other Biological Science degrees.
  • Experience in bioinformatics, genomics, multi-omics and/or cancer research preferred
  • Good understanding and knowledge of advanced molecular biology techniques, and applications (NGS, Gene Expression methods/tools)
  • Experienced in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in SAS/JMP, R and Python is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fast learner and able to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly.
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 to August 15th, 2025
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Princeton, NJ
  • This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship
