We are currently seeking a student Intern to join our team. As a Supply Chain Systems intern, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Department, focused on Supply Planning and ERP systems to support Operational Readiness for internal manufacturing. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in-office required.

Key Responsibilities:

Our Supply Chain Systems Intern works on meaningful activities that provide opportunities for personal and professional development, while contributing to Kyowa Kirin North America’s digitization strategy through process automation, driving best data practices and GxP system management. The goal of the intern will be to design a proposal to enhance business performance and identify areas of opportunity using D365 to gain end to end visibility across the supply chain.  Responsibilities may include:

  • Supply Planning
    • Understand how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems work and gain exposure to Microsoft D365.
    • Support overall Supply Chain Inventory Strategy through Visio flow updates and work instructions
  • Support Operational Readiness
    • Support the implementation of Microsoft D365 ERP system requirements and processes necessary for the Sanford, NC site so that it is ready to manufacture clinical or commercial batches.
  • Gather & analyze data from key resources to develop business process flows to support the performance management of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Support DSCSA Serialization
    • The FDA’s Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) of 2013 mandates certain traceability requirements be in place by November 2024
    • This project largely entails managing Master Data (MDM) and establishing data connections with trading partners for investigating suspected illegitimate product.
  • Engage in training to become well versed in industry best practices and ability to navigate complex matrixed organizations
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to gain experience and alignment with different functional areas (e.g. Logistics, Technical Operations, Quality)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or senior interested in a career in Supply Chain Management
  • Individual must be driven to action and team focused
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 to August 15th, 2025
  • This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis without sponsorship
