Service Now and Infrastructure Jr Developer

We are looking for talented, highly motivated university students for our ICT Infrastructure and Operations team to help increase customer self-service and awareness of how system work at Kyowa Kirin North America (KKNA). Our future talent will be coming in as Infrastructure Engineers (Network, Endpoint, Cloud), Service Delivery Engineers, Workflow Developers and Project/Program Manager in training. You will wear many hats as you jump in a fast-paced environment and produce results in various ICT areas such as Infrastructure and Delivery, Customer Service, Business Partners, Program Management Office, IT Governance, and Security.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build ATF Test Suites:
    • Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites for ServiceNow applications.
    • Ensure test cases are comprehensive and align with business requirements and technical specifications.
    • Execute test suites and analyze results to ensure quality and functionality.
  2. Gather Requirements and Create Agile Stories:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
    • Create detailed Agile user stories and acceptance criteria based on gathered requirements.
    • Assist in prioritizing and refining the product backlog to ensure alignment with project goals.
  3. Perform UAT and Unit Testing:
    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that ServiceNow applications meet end-user needs and business requirements.
    • Execute unit tests to validate individual components and functionalities.
    • Document and track defects or issues, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
    • Prepare and present test reports and progress updates to the IT team and stakeholders.
  5. Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with IT team members, developers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Provide support for ServiceNow-related queries and issues as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university with a major that aligns with the department: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Network Engineering, Information Security, or life sciences field
  • Previous internship and/or project experience, volunteerism, leadership in clubs or societies, and participation in student athletics
  • Understanding of development terminology concepts and frameworks
  • Previous experience in a customer service capacity is preferred
  • Understanding of the Agile Framework and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) is preferred
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th to August 15th, 2025
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • 1+ years leading or working in a team environment
  • Must have good intercommunication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and fun attitude
  • Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Princeton, NJ
  • This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship
