Kyowa Kirin is a fast growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four areas of unmet need: oncology, nephrology, immunology and CNS/movement disorders. The North America organization includes three offices (in New Jersey and California) that focus on drug discovery, product development, and commercialization. Together, we work as a close-knit team to understand clinical needs and advance innovations that can have a profound impact on patient lives.

We are currently seeking an Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with the marketing department. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with some in-office time preferred. In this role, the candidate should have an interest in obtaining practical experience in business strategy, market research, and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team on assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to identify and analyze trends
  • Identify leverage points in marketing initiatives and provide recommendations
  • Provide competitive analysis
  • Participate in conference calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimize existing marketing materials
  • Learn about current marketing challenges and work on strategic projects that mitigates identified challenges
  • Develop and deliver formal business recommendations
  • Maintain professional relationships with members of the cross functional team
  • Manage project timelines
  • Learn and understand HCP and Patient marketing needs
  • Apply critical thinking skills to solve structured and unstructured problems

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university pursuing a career in Marketing.
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 to August 15th, 2025
  • This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred
  • Major in a target area related to this role is required
  • This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis without sponsorship
