2025 Summer Intern - Marketing, Rare Disease

Kyowa Kirin is a fast growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four areas of unmet need: oncology, nephrology, immunology and CNS/movement disorders. The North America organization includes three offices (in New Jersey and California) that focus on drug discovery, product development, and commercialization. We are currently seeking an Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with the marketing department. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with some in-office time preferred. In this role, the candidate should have an interest in obtaining practical experience in business strategy, market research, and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the marketing team on assigned tasks
• Collaborate with marketing team members to identify and analyze trends
• Identify leverage points in marketing initiatives and provide recommendations
• Provide competitive analysis
• Participate in conference calls with internal and external stakeholders
• Optimize existing marketing materials
• Learn about current marketing challenges and work on strategic projects that mitigates identified challenges
• Develop and deliver formal business recommendations
• Maintain professional relationships with members of the cross functional team
• Manage project timelines
• Learn and understand HCP and Patient marketing needs
• Apply critical thinking skills to solve structured and unstructured problems

Qualifications/Requirements:

• This position requires candidates to be a rising junior or rising senior in college/university pursuing a career in Marketing.
• Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
• Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 to August 15th, 2025
• This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
• The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
• Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred
• Major in a target area related to this role is required
• This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis without sponsorship
