The Future of Finance Accelerator Series is designed to expose undergraduate students from all backgrounds to the possibility of a career in investing.
Future of Finance Accelerator
Our Firm’s success depends on the unique and diverse viewpoints of our investment professionals.
The Future of Finance Accelerator Series was created to increase awareness and access to a career in investing for students. Through this virtual, unpaid, multi-week immersion, we aim to help inform, mentor and prepare selected attendees for a career in investing. During the program, participants will learn about the fundamentals of our business and get a glimpse into the life of a Point72 Academy Associate through a real-world project on which you’ll also receive feedback from one of our Academy management members.
We invest in our talent and believe in the importance of fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment where all our employees have the resources and mentorship to grow.
During the Accelerator Series you will:
• Learn the Business: Learn more about the role of a Point72 Investment Analyst and how to critically evaluate stocks through a series of training sessions. You will be able to hear about the different ways analysts have shaped their careers here at Point72.
• Sharpen Your Skills: Apply the skills you learn in the virtual classroom to a case assignment and discuss your work with a Point72 Academy Coach. You will be expected to produce several iterations of a project and present your position, incorporating feedback given along the way.
• Meet with a Mentor: A Point72 mentor will help you understand what it’s like and what it takes to earn your seat at our Firm.
• Expand Your Network: You will work with fellow students interested in finance throughout the program and broaden your network to meet students from schools across North America.
