1473 - Oracle Developer

Sigma Defense is seeking an Oracle Developer to provide on-site support to our customer. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently on moderately complex software solutions that involve working with Oracle Enterprise component products, including but not limited to Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Apex, WebLogic, and E-Business Suite. The hired candidate must have experience with developing and deploying Java/J2EE applications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience utilizing Oracle products, experience in deploying applications to customers (CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise component products and Java/J2EE application development and deployment.
  • Oracle and/or Java certifications.
  • Proven experience working independently on moderately complex software solutions that involve working with Oracle Enterprise component products, including but not limited to Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Apex, WebLogic, and E-Business Suite.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Evaluate stakeholder requirements to determine appropriate Oracle tooling to leverage.
  • Design an appropriate software architecture that utilizes a combination of Oracle and Java tooling.
  • Implement, test, and continuously deploy software solutions into production application servers that stakeholders can access and provide rapid feedback on.
  • Rapidly maintain and debug software solutions as issues arise.
  • Document and follow industry best Configuration Management (CM) processes for tracking changes and guaranteeing reliability of those changes deployed to production.  

Salary Range: $102,500 - $125,000 annually.
