Requirements
- Performance Engineering experience with Jmeter/Neotys.
- Performance Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans that outline performance testing objectives, methodologies, and tools based on project requirements.
- Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments to simulate real-world usage, ensuring they are optimized for performance testing.
- Script Development: Create and maintain performance test scripts using appropriate scripting tools and languages to validate system response and stability under various conditions.
- Load and Stress Testing: Conduct load and stress tests to measure the capacity and resilience of systems under heavy loads or at peak traffic.
- Bottleneck Identification: Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization in software, hardware, or network configurations.
- Performance Optimization: Work with development teams to recommend changes and improvements to enhance system performance based on test outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance continuously and create detailed reports that document the results of performance tests and monitoring efforts.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with developers, network specialists, and system architects to implement performance enhancements and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Tool Selection and Management: Select and manage tools and technologies used for performance testing and monitoring, ensuring they remain updated and effective.
- Continuous Performance Improvement: Advocate for and implement ongoing performance optimization practices throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality, efficient software production.
