Qualitest is growing and we are looking for our next QA Engineer to join our team in Haifa
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive backend test plans and test cases based on system requirements and documentation.
- Utilize SQL as the primary tool for validating database-related applications, including data consistency, integrity, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify system requirements and ensure that testing strategies align with these specifications.
- Report, track, and manage defects in the defect tracking system, providing clear and concise steps to reproduce, along with the expected and actual results.
- Participate in design and specification reviews to ensure a thorough understanding of project goals and requirements.
- Continuously update and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Work closely with other team members to identify areas for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices in QA processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in backend testing - Must
- Proficient in SQL, with actual experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries for testing purposes - Must
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Must
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes - Must
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
