Who we are looking for:
Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Leadership Development Program (LDP). We are looking for individuals with a passion for high-temperature systems, mechanical design, and process optimization. This program provides hands-on leadership experience and focuses on designing, refining, and optimizing mechanical systems critical to clean metals production.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems:Lead the design and optimization of mechanical systems for high-temperature processes like molten salt electrolysis and thermal systems.

Optimize mechanical performance:Implement and refine designs to improve system efficiency, scalability, and sustainability in critical metal refining processes.

Technoeconomic and performance analyses: Assist in developing financial models to support mechanical system performance and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with chemical engineers, R&D, and operations to integrate mechanical systems into Phoenix Tailings’ production lines.

Lead mechanical operations: Oversee the hands-on operation of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and sustainability goals.

Leadership development: Gain leadership skills through project management, technical guidance, and hands-on training, preparing you for senior roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in high-temperature system design, mechanical optimization, or production systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and mechanical analysis software.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative mechanical engineering solutions.
- A desire to grow into a leadership role within a high-impact, high-growth company.
