Team Description

 By forecasting demand, Determine the optimal inventory to hold, managing supply chains, and inventory turnover prediction, Team should provide customers with an optimal purchasing experience and minimize inventory costs for the company. It is necessary to predict ahead of anyone through a high level of understanding of the category, and strategic inventory level management through data and quick decision-making and execution capabilities should ensure that customers can always buy the goods they need on time from Coupang.

 

What you will do

  1. Strategy & Planning (20%)
    1. Yearly / monthly / weekly Inventory and in-outbound Planning
    2. Participate in shaping the InStock Strategy & Goals for each Season & Month, in collaboration with Stakeholders.
  2. Analytic and Automation (50%)
    1. Analysis of out-of-stock and solving systematic problems
    2. Automate Demand Forest Audit and Forecast accuracy improvements.
    3. Systemize manual order.
    4. Dive deep and find problem and solving for high DOC SKUs and Aging SKUs
  3. Execution (30%)
    1. Ordering to prevent out-of-stock or quick recovery out-of-stock.
    2. Demand Forecast management.
    3. Dive deep and improving OOS reasons for frequent OOS occurrences.
    4. Setting the right rules for the ordering system

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Deep understanding of Inventory/Demand Forecast/Ordering within a Retail Context
  • SQL Knowledge Intermediate Level
  • Advanced ability to read/write English, Intermediate ability to speak English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce & distribution (e.g. Discount Store, CVS) or global companies. 
  • Experience with supply chain improvement projects
  • APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP)

 

Document Return Policy

  • This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.

  • In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
