【Job Summary】
Responsible mainly for our manufacturing and automotive clients, building strong relationships with them, identifying their challenges, uncovering their needs, and proposing our business solutions.
Specifically, the candidate will be required to communicate with CxOs and talk about the customer's future vision, and identify the gap between the current situation and customer's future-specific issues related to global transformation, issues common to the customer's industry, and global common issues, and to identify transformation requirements and directions for solutions. In collaboration with internal cross-functional teams including practice groups and delivery groups, we will support the planning and execution of mutual understanding, in-depth investigation of individual themes, and the development of the promotion structure necessary for global transformation.
In addition, for exiting customers, the role will be expected to cultivate and collaborate with key people from various departments to conduct cross-selling and deepen new projects. The important point is how to create a place for proactive proposals without relying on RFP. Regarding RFIs/RFPs, support is expected to respond to this and create new business opportunities. The Sales Senior Manager will be expected to lead the internal proposal review process, involving all relevant parties where necessary.
Ultimately, the Sales Senior Manager will be expected to work with our practice and delivery teams to achieve sales targets.
【Job Description Details】
- Serve as the point of contact for all matters related to customer account management
- Build strong, long-term, and trusting relationships with customers
- Maximize account contribution margins through contract negotiation and execution, and coordinate the execution of each contract
- Build trusted advisory relationships with key clients, client relationships, and executive sponsors
- Deliver solutions that meet customers' needs and goals in a timely manner and with speed
- Identify areas for improvement to meet budgets and achieve goals for existing and under-penetrated clients, including recommendations for business growth
- Clearly communicate progress of weekly/monthly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare reports on account status
- Consult and collaborate with superiors, operational teams, and internal leaders in a timely manner to ensure smooth client support
【Requirements】
- Sales experience in the IT software, SI, or consulting industry is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing, retail or enterprise software industry in Japan
- Ability to communicate smoothly with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives and C-levels
- Strategic thinker, able to take initiative and involve others in making proposals to customers and coordinating internally
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
- Experience in providing solutions tailored to customer needs
- Ability to handle multiple account management projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Native level of Japanese and advanced level of English including reading, writing and speaking due to many opportunities to use English, including with clients and internal collaborations
- Knowledge of SAP and DX is a plus
